Korean drama Love Alarm 2 can be watched on the Netflix streaming platform starting today, Friday (12/3/2021).
Adapted from a webtoon story with the same title, Love Alarm tells the story of people who find love through the Jo Alarm app. The app alerts users when someone within a 10-meter radius has feelings for them.
Love Alarm 2 takes place four years after the first season, with the Jo Alarm app having evolved with new features that provide lists of "people to like" and "people to like you."
Kim Jo Jo (played by Kim So Hyun) is in a unique situation. She is unable to express her feelings through the app, due to a block placed on her Love Alarm account.
Unable to make anyone's alarm go off, Kim Jo Jo finds herself caught in a love triangle between Lee Hye Young (played by Jung Ga Ram) who has sincerely and faithfully stayed by her side all this time, and Hwang Sun Oh (played by Song Kang) who passionately pursues her after re-entering Jo Jo's life and revealing that her feelings have not faded away.
The development of the three main characters presents a more mature Kim Jo Jo, Lee Hye Young, and Hwang Sun Oh in Love Alarm 2.
Fans can also witness a more mature romance than the previous season.
Love Alarm 2 will also present the characters of Park Gul Mi (played by Go Min Si), Brian Cheon (Ki Do Hoon), and Lee Yook Jo (Kim Si Eun) who adapt to the world after Love Alarm in their own ways.
"I think you will enjoy watching Love Alarm 2, especially if you focus on how each character shows the emotions they experience when making decisions, such as anxiety, doubt, excitement, or even fear of whether the choices made are correct," said director Kim Jin Woo.
How will Kim So Hyun, Song Kang, and Jung Ga Ram's love triangle end?
